When it helps
Text translation suits short questions, checking an address, a time or a plan. The message stays in the conversation, so there is no copying each line into another app.
AiThao is for conversations between people who use the app. Translation works in group chats too: everyone reads the messages in their own language.
How to avoid misunderstandings
- Write short, clear sentences.
- Avoid abbreviations the other person may not know.
- Check numbers, names and addresses before acting on them.
How the text is processed
Chats in AiThao are end-to-end encrypted: the server stores and delivers messages it cannot read. To translate a message, the phone decrypts it and sends the text to a cloud AI provider. Cloud translation is on by default, can be switched off in Settings, and the app tells you the first time it is used. The details are in the privacy policy.

How do I check an important sentence?
Ask the other person to confirm names, numbers and key details in a separate message.
Does it replace a professional translator?
No. For medical, legal or financial matters, automatic translation should not be your only way of understanding.
