Messaging a seller in another language: price and delivery

Clarify the item, price, currency and delivery across languages with short questions and an editable order-confirmation example.

One question per message

Specify the item code, size, colour and quantity. Ask separately about the item price, currency and delivery charge. An unexplained number may mean the price of one item or the whole order.

Confirm the details in writing

After a call, repeat the amount, units, full address and date with local time. Ask for corrections. Translation helps communication; it does not verify a seller's reliability or payment safety.

An example to fill in

Illustrative example, not app output: “Please confirm: [item code], [size/colour], [quantity]. Items: [amount and currency]. Delivery: [charge], [date and time], [address]. Is that correct?”

Your first conversation across languages

You have AiThao, and so does the person you want to talk to, but you do not share a language. Here is how a first conversation goes, from adding each other to a translated call.

Translation and privacy

Translation is the point of AiThao, and it is not done on your phone. This page says exactly what leaves your phone when something is translated.
