Separate the recap from the tasks
Read the summary and look for three things: what needs doing, who will do it and by when. If nobody agreed on an owner or deadline, ask rather than inventing one. A short recap is not automatically a list of commitments.
Check the details that matter
Confirm names, dates, times, addresses and amounts with the other person. Across countries, specify the time zone and currency. If translation or speech recognition seems uncertain, clarify the original words before acting.
Confirm in one message
Try this template: “Have I understood correctly: [action], owner [name], deadline [date and time zone]? Please confirm or correct it.” Include only points that were actually discussed. The other person's confirmation matters more than a confident AI summary.
Call summaries
Summaries of calls with or without translation. Enable the feature during the call: the other person sees a notice and may prohibit summaries. With supported speech recognition, text stays on your device until you remove the call, clear its history or erase the device’s data. iPhone requires iOS 26+.
To create the summary, the written transcript goes to a cloud AI provider. This is text, not an audio recording. AiThao does not retain the transcript on the server. The summary is temporarily kept in memory so repeated requests within 6 hours can reuse the result.
Calls with translation are not end-to-end encrypted while translation is on. Read the call security explanation before using the feature for a sensitive conversation.
