AiThaoIn the app
Text messages are translated in 92 languages, and both people in the chat see the translation. Calls understand speech in 60 languages: in 29 of them the translation is spoken aloud, in the other 31 it is shown as subtitles. These are different modes — 60 input languages does not mean a spoken translation for all 60.
The app is waiting for Apple’s approval to appear in the App Store. There is no public install link yet.
Languages in the web demo
English, Russian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Indonesian, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Urdu.
These are the languages the demo offers, not a promise that every pair and every mode works equally well. The demo shows the current options before you record.
Why the site speaks more languages than the demo
The homepage is translated into more languages than the live demo offers. Reading about AiThao in your language does not by itself mean that language is supported in a particular call or voice mode.
If the pair you need is missing from the demo, check the app or ask support rather than relying on a recording made for you.
