Before you start
Install AiThao from the platform page. On the computer choose linking to an existing account and leave its QR code on screen.
Link a computer by QR
Open the computer-linking scanner inside AiThao on your phone. Scan the code shown by your own computer, then approve the request on the phone.
What happens to old chats
Scan the computer’s QR code inside AiThao on your phone to link it to your account. Up to 7 linked computers. Old messages are not transferred; new messages arrive after linking. You can unlink a computer on your phone.
Switch between accounts and share your screen in a one-to-one call. Save an encrypted backup and its key to restore it on another computer. Linking by QR code does not transfer phone chat history.
If linking fails
If the code has expired, scan the fresh code on the computer. If the app asks for an update, update it before trying again. Repeatedly scanning an expired picture will not fix the link.
Account and sign-in security
Only approve a computer you control. Linking gives that device account access; a code sent by a stranger is not a translation request. If you no longer use a linked computer, remove it from the phone’s linked-computer list.
